Making FItness a Lifestyle
Sports and weight lifting have attracted Jeremy since he was in junior high. In high school at Owen Valley, Jeremy was a multi-sport athlete, participating in football and baseball. His favorite part of training was the time in the weight room. It wasn’t until after high school that Jeremy discovered the sport of mixed martial arts. He has dedicated 7 years to learning and competing in Brazilian ju-jitsu and no-gi grappling. In 2011, Jeremy tore his shoulder winning a grappling match in an event, and since has discovered his talent in teaching technique and preparing the body for the stress of mma competition.
After a brief period with the semi-pro football team in Bloomington, Jeremy began the process of certifying to be a personal trainer. In 2012, he joined wife Julie Helton to co-manage Xcel Performance.
Jeremy is passionate about fitness and nutrition. He is dedicated to a lifestyle of healthy choices and is a very motivating and energetic fitness coach.
